Standard Firmware

This solution uses the default Linux-based firmware provided by LEGO and is ready to be used, however users are limited to a limited in the number of tools that have been installed by LEGO. The main disadvantage with this option is that there is limited information about how to interact with the hardware (e.g. Motors, sensors). Readers interested in using this options are recommended the following sequence:

Install the GCC cross-compiler

Setup the network communication

Create, compile and run the “Hello World” program

Learn how to manipulate the hardware
