It’s name is Billy (my youngest son names my robots) and is built using mostly EV3 Lego parts (except for the paint brush and a the gyroscope). Billy can draw any postscript formated image stored in an SD card. The program runs entirely inside the LEGO brick and does not require any external references. The robot can control the thickness of the line by exercising different amounts of pressure on the paint brush. This is the third major revision of this robot, the first one was based on the LEGO NXT and the second used the same LEGO EV3 and resembled a ground vehicle. In 2014 we had some interesting media coverage at CES 2014.
